Though I made my first handmade birthday card prior to the pandemic, it was during lockdown that I made more cards than I could count! I’ve been busy card making (or shopping for card making supplies) ever since. Now, I share cards with as many people as possible. My intentions are to encourage people to be kind and send a card to a person you love, a person you remembered today or send a card for no particular reason at all. 

To date, Tia’s Craft Studio has donated over 500 handmade cards to charities serving sick children and the elderly. The more we reach out to others, the more we learn that we have in common. Social media helps to connect us, but there is nothing like receiving a handmade card in the mail. 

I started as a Stampin' Up Demonstrator in 2024. Now I offer cardmaking classes and crafting events in the Detroit Metro area. 

I'm from Detroit but currently live in New Hudson, MI, with my husband, Chris, son, Jayden, and cat, Oatmeal.
